WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A HOME INSPECTION?

A standard home inspection includes a full exterior and interior review of your intended property. This includes roofs, walls, grounds, garages, attic, bathrooms, general interior, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, basement, structural, and more. Based on your lender and mortgage type, there are additional home inspection services that you may require. We also offer the following: Radon Testing, Water Quality Testing, Well Flow Testing, FHA Water Quality Testing and Pest Damage Review. We ALWAYS include a Mold Assessment for Free!
 

HOW LONG Is A home INSPECTION?

Our home inspectors are thorough and very efficient. A typical home inspection should last anywhere from 1.5 - 2 hours.
 

Do you offer septic inspections?

No, a true septic inspection requires a pump out of the tank. This service is provided by a septic service company only. Without a pump out, the walls, baffles, and bottom of the tank would not be visible. The condition of these components is crucial to the proper functioning of your septic system. A septic dye test or septic camera test (offered by some home inspectors) is not a true septic inspection and does not properly protect you, the buyer. This is why we do not recommend using a home inspector for your septic inspection. In order to better protect your investment, it is in your best interest to contact a septic service company for a true septic inspection.

CAN I SEND MY REAL ESTATE AGENT TO THE home INSPECTION WITHOUT ME?

Yes, you can send your Real Estate Agent to meet the home inspector on your behalf. However, if this is the case, please let us know in advance of the home inspection. All home inspection reports will be sent to the client directly along with their Real Estate Agent when requested.
 

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE FULL Home INSPECTION REPORT?

Typically we are able to send our clients the completed home inspection report same day as the home inspection. Our home inspectors are available post report to help with any questions you may have and help serve as a resource.
 

IS RADON or water TESTING INCLUDED in the home inspection?

We offer Radon and/or Water Testing as add on services to our standard home inspection. They are both Add-On Services in our Package Pricing as well. Our home inspectors are certified radon testers and water samplers. You can rest assured your home is being thoroughly screened by the best radon and water quality experts in your area!
